Entrepreneurs are some of the most resourceful people I know. They see a need, they find a way to solve it. They find a gap, they discover the tools to bridge it. They uncover an opportunity and they resource whatever is necessary to jump on that chance before it's gone.
If you're an entrepreneur, I bet you can think back to times that you worked on a team of people who were not quite as resourceful as you. You may have noticed that most people are not self-starters and innovators the way that you are. They see a need or a gap or an opportunity and... that's it. No action. No ideating. No dreaming.
Christian entrepreneurs—people who are really after Jesus—have resources they can't even see or touch.
We are literally carriers of saving grace, healing forgiveness, unfiltered love, uncommon joy, unexplainable peace, abundant patience (we try), active kindness, the very definition of goodness, loyal faithfulness... I could go on.
At our disposal are resources that cannot be accessed by those that Jesus came to save. And we carry them around freely.
Freely we have been given! And so freely we can give.
And, as catalytic thinkers and movers, we are built to see the advancement of the kingdom of heaven in a way that's deeply connected to those resources.
But we've forgotten how.
When we sit down to strategize we have the ability to ask the Holy Spirit to bring wisdom and clarity and vision. And we have the abundance of the Kingdom of Heaven at our disposal!
So, how come we've forgotten to think at scale?
He's thinking big.
He's thinking Kingdom of Heaven big.
And He's already given just the right resources to move. The tenacity to try. The risk tolerance to fail.
He's built entrepreneurs to capitalize on every seen and unseen, known and yet-to-be-discovered resource!
So let's go heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out the demons (yep, I said it)... and let's think big. Utilizing every resource at our disposal.
